The Taj

Hotel Taj up close. Even the pigeons seem to love the service and the ambience here. Cliick on the picture to see it in its original size and see the birds too.

  3. Lovely structure - lacey and elegant. I would love to be there too not only the pigeons. :)

  6. That's really impressive - you get a sense of the scale and size of the building even though it's only a portion of the building.

  9. That's amazing - there don't seem to be any anti-pigeon measures either. I wonder if they are closely related to a blogging pigeon I know.

Nice building. Taj is a Persian word too. I know it means crown.

  13. When I visited many years ago, relatives of one of my students brought me to their home and then took me out to eat at the Taj Hotel. It was a memorable experience. They also told me the story of the architect's error, who then committed suicide. Accurate or an urban legend??
