Shopping at Kurla Terminus

Travellers doing their last minute shopping at the Kurla Terminus before embarking on long journeys. These shops sell everything that a long distance traveller would need. Bottles of drinking water, cans to fill water, soft drinks, airpillows, chips and even chains that are used to secure your luggage to the seat legs.

  10. These must be really useful places to visit for the last minute stuff..I'm interested in those chains, though. Is there are a lot of stealing? I once travelled through France on an overnight train and 6 people were robbed in my carriage alone during the night..we could have done with those chains.

  13. Some things are the same everywhere. Go to any airport in the world and you'll find the same vendors. Only in the airports they've got a captive clientele so they can charge whatever they like for their merchandise!

One day I really must get to Mumbai... Just to see it for myself.
