  3. Stunning! Such a brilliant colour!

I thought you might be interested in seeing this blog post. Every year I go to the Odawa First Nation (a local Native tribe, in the Ottawa area, for whom Ottawa is named) Powwow.

Powwows are celebrations held by First Nations people all over the US and Canada. Basically, a sort of fair, featuring dance competitions, traditional foods, and handicrafts.

So much to see and do and eat! There is a video at the bottom of the page of the dancing competitions.

  31. Seems like I remember the name of this from an earlier post of yours. (Or was it one of Indrani's?) Isn't this a fairly rare tree? Or am I thinking of the wrong tree?

Makes a wonderfully colorful photo in any case!
