Camera Critters

This post is dedicated to the unfortunate passengers and crew who were on board the ill fated aircraft that crash landed on 22May10 in Mangalore, India. 158 souls set free and 8 miraculous survivors.

  7. So sorry to hear about the crash yesterday. I gather a young girl is one of the survivors...

    This shot is quite eerie - it's almost as if the crow is taking off with those souls that have been released...

  10. The air crash is an absolute disaster - I can't believe it happened.

    On the photo, I love the shot itself - but those crows are evil! I experienced enough of their ways in Kolkata!

  18. Great shot...the ceremony of feeding the crows after death.
    The Indian lifestyle has numerous such ecofriendly customs. Crows are scavengers and without them our cities would have been very dirty.
    The rat too is revered for the same purpose...it has Ganapati as a protector!
