Bombay Natural History Society


The Bombay Natural History Society, founded on 15 September 1883, is one of the largest non-governmental organisations in India engaged in conservation and biodiversity research.

  10. It was in 1965 , when a permanent housing for Society’s collection and office of Hornbill House completed with GOI grant – that's when the BNHS got the Hornbill House.
