  3. I have yet to understand why any archbishop, bishop, or priest, or anyone in the church's hierarchy in any country needs to live in such a mansion. The Jesus we read about in the New Testament stories seemed to live a life close to poverty as he traveled the roads teaching and healing. Maybe that's why St. Paul and the other New Testament writers have nothing to say about his earthly life or teachings, and why modern church leaders also neglect to focus on the message of their so-called Christ or Messiah.
