There was a sudden downpour and the pedestrian who was prepared, used his umbrella to protect himself whilst the unprepared rider had to take cover under a tree for whatever little protection it offered.

The grand entrance to the Bandra Terminus of Western Railway. The signs are in 3 languages (Marathi - Vaandray Terminus, English and Hindi - Baandraa Terminus. Marathi and Hindi are in Devanagari script whilst English is in Roman script)

Today India celebrates 76 years of Independence. The celebrations are muted due to a large number of disasters all over the country. Above is a picture of a street in Bandra that has apparently escaped the eyes of the redevelopers/builders.
