Travellers doing their last minute shopping at the Kurla Terminus before embarking on long journeys. These shops sell everything that a long distance traveller would need. Bottles of drinking water, cans to fill water, soft drinks, airpillows, chips and even chains that are used to secure your luggage to the seat legs.
nice one
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your shots, gives me a real feel for the place, the people. Thank you.
ReplyDeletec'est bien utile ces petits kiosques dans les gares.
ReplyDeleteit is useful these small kiosks in the stations.
Itlooks so small to contain everything but I bet they know everything that can be needed.
ReplyDeleteI love those little stands. What a fun way to spend money and sometimes on things you don't need.
ReplyDelete:-)
VADA PAV .... you forgot that !!!!!
ReplyDeleteA good snap ! I loved those white cans...
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and the objects. I think I'd want to buy one of each.
ReplyDeleteI went back through and looked at all of your posts from atop that amazing bridge. Thrilling photos, magiceye! It's exciting that you got to be one of the people to go up there.
Very colourful!
ReplyDeleteNice shot and does look like they carry everything
ReplyDeletethis is what we call a 'preiptero' in greece - all sorts of trinkets can be found here, including neat little gadgets!
ReplyDeleteThese must be really useful places to visit for the last minute stuff..I'm interested in those chains, though. Is there are a lot of stealing? I once travelled through France on an overnight train and 6 people were robbed in my carriage alone during the night..we could have done with those chains.
ReplyDeleteGet some reallll good shots...its a pleasure seeing the pics u click...Happy Journey!
ReplyDeletehow interesting ! it reminds me of the West Indies ... there are some similar scenes of street merchants !
ReplyDeleteSome things are the same everywhere. Go to any airport in the world and you'll find the same vendors. Only in the airports they've got a captive clientele so they can charge whatever they like for their merchandise!
ReplyDeleteOne day I really must get to Mumbai... Just to see it for myself.
Last minute shopping... I Love it!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a real handy kind of place. I always enjoy your photos. Great for an "armchair traveler" like me!
ReplyDeleteI like this kind of kiosks where you can find almost anything. They are so colourful in India!

ReplyDeleteKris wants samosa? Lol. Vive La Mumbai!
