    weird windblown - presumably it wasn't totally uprooted - I'm surprised it hasn't been cleared if it blocks a footpath.

    "Weird" is right! I've seen trees grow at funny angles before, but I'm not sure I've ever seen one grow horizontal! Looks as though it might have been knocked down, and then left alone. Amazing the ways that nature finds to survive despite the odds, hai na?
