Some practical types, pick and choose where to fall, and where to flow, sometimes, with friends, sometimes, remaining smartly inert;
And some, with chequered lives, and a longish reach, glide smoothly through it all, sinusoidal moves, a push here, a drag there, a tail lash at obstacles, but with a face above water at all times.
I do not love snakes. My home state of Georgia has an abundance of them. We grew up swimming in the Chattahoochee River, which separated us from Alabama, and there were water mocassins ( poisonous )in some areas. We even have rattlesnakes - and a rattlesnake roundup every year in one part of Georgia. The very poisonous coral snake is also native to Georgia.
Thanks for the visit Braja(I think that is your name)
ReplyDeleteI am not a snake person. Nice pic though.
