In Frankfurt I do that, too. In Braunschweig, my home, no need. Once a woman tipped me on the shoulder and said, " your backpack opened and your purse is about to fall out!". When I travel I have "soldier-trousers" where I have the documents on my leg. Sad, isn´t that?
