I like it that you photograph these characters. I've seen at least one other very excellent crow photo by you here. I recall sending it to a blog friend, Susan, who's blogging alter-ego is Crow. She liked it. :-)
How funny. I like strategy meal idea. That is exactly how I usually see them too. They are always trying to eat the suet I put out for the woodpeckers. Thanks for sharing.
Ah, yes, the crows. You either love 'em or hate 'em. Wonderful birds for cleaning up the parking lots for those that decide to empty out their vehicles of fast food garbage when they are too lazy to use a trash can that is 3 feet away from them or hate the birds for waking you up at 4am in the morning!

Nice capture. The crows have a statue appearance to me.

ReplyDelete"Caw! Caw!" said the crows, "Magic Eye is about to shoot us!"
ReplyDelete"What?!"
"I don't see a gun!"
"With the camera, stupid!"
"I didn't know cameras had bullets!"
"I give up..."
I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they actually were strategizing about their next meal. Crows are so smart!
