Exterior


These are buildings in Bandra with houses that have a common corridor. Each house has that arch for decoration and demarcation. The terrace is covered with a metal sheet as a shade during sunny afternoons or monsoons.

      Indeed, here they are called chawls but now they are being replaced by flats.
