Cheek by jowl shops on a single building on Bandra's famous Linking Road Which stretches for abour a kilometre with plenty of buildings and kerbside shops on both sides of the road making it one of the most popular shopping street in Mumbai. It has shops to suit every pocket!

The sign on the big building top is 'Indian Oil'. It is the head office of Indian Oil Corp. There are 2 signs on the autorickshaw. On the bottom left written in Devnagari script is 'Aditi' which is a name dear to the autorickshaw driver. On the centre is written Max 3 Pass (meaning maximum 3 passengers).

Clicked this at the crossroads in Bandra.

Bandra heritage

The Bandra suburban railway station, a Grade 1 Heritage structure, is lit up every evening. The architecture is a mix of Indian and British. It was opened in 1869.

The Yum treat cafe in Bandra. Incidentally Yum in Indian languages means the God of death. This obviously is a faux pas on the part of the owners while naming their cafe!
