The lady who would clean up the sea shore by picking up the trash thrown by visitors and sell it to the recyclers. She is another victim of the lockdown as now there are no visitors, hence no trash. Hope she is managing to live through these difficult times. This picture is from the prelockdown days.

The daily wage earner
Wonder what she is doing now during the lockdown period. Is she going hungry? Will she make it through this terrible time and if she does, how much longer will she have to wait before getting a job? She is a migrant who had come to make a living in Mumbai and now she might not have a home to stay in.
She is a representation of all the daily wage earners in India today who are suffering the most.
This picture was taken before the imposition of the lockdown.
