Birth of a butterfly

Just born lime swallowtail butterfly at home 😊 It flutters its wings to dry them and is then ready to fly out to greet the world.

The Caterpillar was on a plant in my balcony. Had brought it in and kept it in the lantern to save it from predators. Fed it with leaves. And this was the result 😊

Indian Golden Oriole

An Indian Golden Oriole male outside my window in Bandra east.

The Indian golden oriole is a species of oriole found in the Indian subcontinent and Central Asia. The species was formerly considered to be a subspecies of the Eurasian golden oriole, but is now considered a full species. Wikipedia
