Spreading Loban

The fakir roams around in the market spreading the fragrant smoke from burning Loban (frankincense) in return for a tip from the shop owner. In the photo he is fanning the embers at a shop selling garlic in the Mirza Ghalib market.

This is at the end of Tilak Bridge in Dadar where the excess vegetables brought for the retailers are offloaded to be sold at throwaway price to smaller retailers. This happens every morning.
