Ganpati bappa morya

Cries of 'Ganpati bappa morya' (Bless us O Ganesha) rent the air and will resonate for a week till the end of the Ganesha festival. The photo is of an idol being carted in a truck to be installed in a public place for devotees to come and worship.

Bored

The paanwalah looking bored waiting for customers on a rainy day.

A paanwallah is a person who sells paan, a chewable product made from betel leaves and other ingredients. The word "paanwallah" is made up of two Hindi words: "paan" which means "betel leaf" and "wala" which means "person associated with".
Paanwallas are often found at roadside booths, small stalls, or push carts. They are often the sole owners of their businesses and are often known for knowing the latest neighborhood gossip and rumors.
Paan is a common breath freshener in India and is often chewed with areca nut. It is also considered to be an aid to digestion and an astringent.
