In Mumbai, carowners need not take their cars to the carwash, there are guys who come over daily to do the job! This is necessary because there is plenty of dust around, hence the cars need to cleaned daily.
I live in Paris. People are rather careless about their cars. Cars are getting some frequent and small damage by smaller accidents in a dense traffic and - especially - when sqeezing / bumping into a parking space, which always is too small - if you find it.
In other countries cars are "sacred", must look perfect and clean.
Of course, we have nobody coming around for washing. I understand that to wash your car in the street is even forbidden in Paris. You have to bring it to a garage to get it washed. Expensive... so not too often.

ReplyDeleteIt's fine to discover a place where I can see about the reality in your country.
ReplyDeleteMy wife knows India, but I've never been there. One of this days I will, I hope.
My compliments
