In India we eat with our hands. The use of spoons/forks/knives for eating is minimal. So after eating the traditional way, the waiter in this restaurant brings a jar of water and a container and pours water over your hand for washing.
Ah, how nice that looks. I've eaten at north African restaurants where this was done, but I didn't know it was also true in India. I like the vantage point of this image.
c'est une bonne idée, cela fait penser a la serviette chaude a la fin du repas dans les restaurants chinois. this is a good idea, it is reminiscent of a hot towel at the end of meals in Chinese restaurants.
I've posted an Indian restaurant on Thursday! We get hot lemon scented towels when we've finished eating there, but they still give us a knife and fork :)
