Dadar

We had a respite from the rains that brought out all the hawkers hawking their wares on the road leading to the Dadar railway station. Dadar is a major junction and railway terminus for a lot of interstate/intercity trains. It is humming with activity 24x7 for 365 days of the year.

  2. the black car with the yellow hood is a taxi - it is a 'Premier Padmini' indigeneously manufactured till about 5yrs back. now they dont make those cars any more. the people here are mainly middle/lower middle class. the 1st guy is hawking plastic footwear for the rains and the 2nd guy is selling multi colored shorts.

  3. Well captured Dadar market. I love walking through the lanes here, and sometimes get very reasonable bargains for little things like kid's fancy drress, bangles, and of course fruits and vegetables.
