Thursday Challenge - Containers

The big blue container is used as the lunch room for the workers building the Bandra Worli Sealink and the shiny stainless steel containers are their linch boxes or tiffins or 'dabbas' as they are known here. Am sure you can spot other utility containers in the picture too!

  2. Did they bring the tiffins themselves, or were they couriered in by the tiffin wallahs?

Great choice! I almost went with something very similar to this myself.

  6. I love this clever picture. It certainly fulfills the title: "Containers" very well.

Are the Dabas still brought by the men on bicycles from central locations(s)? Aloha & Namaste!

  23. That's a cool set of container shots. In the West, these shelves would be inside the house - but in Asia, most of life takes place outside.
