Skywatch Friday

The Mumbai night sky on 27Feb09 at 2017hrs, Topping the picture is Venus follwed by the crescent of the moon underneath which you will see the lights of an aircraft and at the bottom are the residential lights.

  18. At first glance it looks like a black sky, but after clicking to enlarge....wow! Lots going on in there. Catching that aircraft by the moon was great timing.

  23. I was cursing myself that I did not carry a camera to capture this moment. But I am happy I found one hear... Unimaginable position of Moon coupled with the Orange color makes this moment totally unique... Nicely captured.
