That's my world

Mahesh, an enterprising mat weaver marketing his wares by writing out his name and contact details on the mat. 'Chatai' means mat and 'Chataiwala' means 'the mat guy'. This is in Santacruz (east), a suburb of Mumbai.

  6. The mat guy is within easy access to a homeopathy clinic, I see. That surprised me. I did't think Indians would go in for that. But what do I know!

    You might find better scope around town...maybe Chor-Bazaar...or even Crawford market..
