That's my world

'Shiv Sena Bhavan' - the headquarters of Shiv Sena, a powerful political regional party of Maharashtra with national ambitions, is in Shivaji Park, Mumbai. The person pictured on the building is their founder, Bal Thackeray. He has now handed over the reins of running the party to his son - Uddhav Thackeray.

  11. Politicians are universal. Love them or loathe them have to have them and house them. I would never have guessed what this building was. Interesting.

  16. I thought Bal Thackery was BJP. Or is that the same bunch by another name? The orange flag on the roof suggests that it is, but maybe that's more universal than I realized.

Aren't these the same guys they came down on for hassling tourists and couples a few months ago? What'd they call those guys... Oh yeah, the Saffron Brigade or something close to that.

Guys like Thackery worry me. Wherever they are and whatever dogma they embrace, they worry me.

But. Makes the building an impressive photograph!
