ABC Wednesday - H for Haar

'Haar' means garland(s) in Marathi - the language of Mumbai, in Maharaashtra. Pictured above are the 'haars' being sold in Matunga, Mumbai

  5. I remember these garlands from my Rotary stay in Bangalore in February! Only the leis in Hawaii can come almost close to their beauty and fragrance!
