I never enjoy waiting...am not sure what time of day this photo was taken...are these folks connected to each other or are they waiting along? I guess each is busy about their every day lives.
Good shot. It looks like the lady is not sure if the bus is going to come or maybe if it's going to be on time...and she probably has a job interview! Yikes!
I love the facial characteristics of people taken unawares - as some of yours are here. They are off in their head thinking thoughts while they endure the interminable wait.
Thanks for coming by to visit. I've always been reluctant to photograph people, but I'm trying to break out a little. Glad you liked. I'm enjoying looking at your daily photos!
Generally I do not post on blogs, but I would love to mention that this post extremely forced me to try and do therefore! really nice post. thanks, here's a similar subject you'll like Digital Clocks

I think 50% of an average Indian is spend in waiting.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful shot showing a slice of life in your city. The two women hold their hands to their faces. Are they trying to avoid a smell?
ReplyDeleteVery fine picture! The expressions of those nice people well describe the boring wait for the bus!
ReplyDelete@Jilly .. the girls are avoiding breathing in the polluted air and dust.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing as Jilly so thank you for the explanation....great shot!
ReplyDeleteSeems to be a scene repeated in all urban areas.
ReplyDeleteExcellent Theme Day picture!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the bus may be running a bit late...
ReplyDeleteWell chosen!
ReplyDeleteLooks like they've been waiting for a while too! The guy on the right doesn't look at all amused.
