Be a little like living in the jail with all those bars, but I'm sure they're desirable as protection. Great shot for the day as always!!
This is brilliant.
All of my windows had these when I was living in southern Spain.
I'm guessing you took that photo while on board a moving train! Was it moving really quickly? Especially if so, great spot and snap! :D
Most common feature across urban India . Caged atmosphere
just so nice
Slow deterioration and progressive decay of what may have been a beautiful structure!! Hope the building is strong enough to bear the extra load!!
i believe the owner is scared of dacoity...Lolz
Excellent title for such an interesting shot!
The thumbnail in my reader immediately captured my attention. I love this. So well done!
Love the metalwork - looks great on the side of the building!
wondering why are they being so cagey :P
That would be also a rather common sight in my home country and it makes me sad that people have to cage windows, homes, lives...God bless you!Cezar
Interesting - never seen anything like this here.
Nice! However, I've always wondered why they'd want to mar the beauty of their flats by doing this.
Is this supposed to be decorative, Deepak, or is it an anti-theft device?
Will someething drop out? I wonder......
The situation is such that this is important but it looks like jail...Beautifully captured!
Jailed for safety.
Such old buildings! People don't use such precautions anymore. We're advanced, you see. :P
