Looking so special...Mynah
Superb capture, beautiful bird and I love being able to look him in the eye -- through your photo!
Thank you Sylvia
I didn't see any mynahs where I stayed near Sahar but crows were out and about by the hundreds, it seemed.Deepak, I missed the flamingoes!
Next time for sure Carmen. This season even I have not been there
Dang, this Mynah has some attitude--look at her/him looking straight into your camera...love the shot and I have always loved this bird:)
Thank you Bhavana. :) Sure looks like telling me to piss off!!
Nah, the mynah just wants to be sure that the pose is correct--not some silly bird pose, but something that makes him/her unique:):) I am sure s/he was very happy with the publicity:)
What a lovely bird!
nice capture...there are lots of mynahs in my neighbourhood, they love to sit on my hanging planters and while away their afternoons!!http://sushmita-smile.blogspot.in/
Thank you Sushmita. Must be delightful watching them!!
Gosh! it does look angry.
While most birds have disappeared from cities mynahs are amongst the few which have not only survived but flourished.
The Mynah is a cool bird, great shot!
