reblocking are also being done on major roads in Metro Manila nowadays. they usually do it in the summer when classes are out.
I wish they would do that more often in India..

That's the way they do it here, too. Doesn't last long, especially if it rains. Generally, it's the big trucks that destroy the roads in the States.

Interesting. It has never occurred to me that Mumbai might have potholes! (I thought that was a northern thing caused by ice and snow.)
We have the rains to mess up our roads :)
