Beautiful temple and another great look at your world!!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
It is beautiful .
ReplyDeleteWell, it looks like it will be very beautiful. Perhaps you will show us the temple when it is completed?
ReplyDeleteThis is an old temple and being renovated. It is very popular and a very important landmark of Mumbai hence also high on the terrorists list due to which it always has high security. Taking photographs arouses the suspicion of the paranoid security guards :) so hopefully I do get a chance to sneak in a picture again from a moving vehicle.
DeleteGreat capture.
ReplyDeleteThank you Indrani
DeleteIt looks like the temple is having a lot of restoration Deepak, how old is it? A very beautiful building indeed!
ReplyDeleteThe old temple was consecrated on Thursday, 19th November 1801.
DeleteWow! I'm sure this is not only your most beautiful thing, but also to those who are waiting for it to be completed. Thanks for sharing! :-)
ReplyDeleteA pleasure to share Christine
DeleteNice capture. I thought I too would capture it one day but now I see there is no such hope.

DeleteWell captured...I never saw this temple but heard a lot about it..:-)

DeleteLove the way you have provided an alternative perspective to this temple--a temple dedicated to a God who removes obstruction obviously has not been able to remove obstructions to his own home's restoration...
