Many years ago, we would tie on a fabric 'choli' (sp?) and then wrap ourselves in 12 feet of fabric and call it a Sari! No one in Philadelphia knew enough to say it was not - but I bet we would have looked like silly hippies to your knowing eye! I do enjoy this candid shot of Mumbai's leafy streets and good people.
I love this everyday shot! How elegant she looks without it being draped professionally. How utterly proper she looks!!! I love this shot. I am so glad you noted her and used ur camera to freeze the moment in time!
