  1. Many years ago, we would tie on a fabric 'choli' (sp?) and then wrap ourselves in 12 feet of fabric and call it a Sari! No one in Philadelphia knew enough to say it was not - but I bet we would have looked like silly hippies to your knowing eye! I do enjoy this candid shot of Mumbai's leafy streets and good people.

  10. I didn't know that there were different ways to wear a sari I leaned from my friend another way. She has beautiful saris and I like them very much !
