That's something you'd be unlikely to see here. Not too many window a/c are sold anymore. Re your comment on Ocala DP: Actually, many Americans can't spell at all, phonetically or otherwise! :-)

I am so thankful for air conditioning these days, - in our very young married years we used to have a large sprinkler on the roof that gave us intermittent 'rain' throughout the hot days as it spun around. We live in semi-desert country.
We can put off the repair for a few months now in Bangalore.
Aah the cool city!
