I love your bike! Separate pillion saddle adds to its beauty. This model is not available in my town...in fact haven't seen it even in Delhi, Gurgaon or Chandigarh!! The driver's with springs must be fun to ride:):) Nicely photographed too!
Lucky you! It's a beauty of a bike. Royal Enfield sounds British made? I was just reading an article in Newsweek about a writer for The New Yorker (married to an Indian) who lived in the slums of Mumbai and has now written a book of her experiences in which she describes the people there, although poverty-stricken, as very much like people everywhere in the world, etc. Sounds most interesting.
Her name is Katherine Boo and the book is title "Behind the Beautiful Forevers." It was a National Book Award Winner.
Royal Enfield was a British company now bought over by Eicher India. Not heard of her nor her book though there is a similar story authored by Gregory David Roberts, titled Shantaram. More of it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shantaram_(novel)
Yes! They are beautiful on the showroom floor! Ride safe, my fellow 2-wheel friend
