    You certainly found a good spot from which to take this photo! Well-done!

    Re your question: That's not an SUV, but rather a large pickup truck (a Dodge Ram, I think) that has been modified with large tires. Some people do that because they like the look, others because it is easier to drive the truck through sandy or boggy areas of the forest. :-)
