Our world

The trough outside Horniman Circle possibly for the horses to drink from in the Victorian era. It was erected by Bai Mancooverbai Ardon in 1873.

  7. We used to have a lot of drinking fountains - for humans and for dogs. I imagine from the same era. Troughs for horses were less ornate(here, that is) and the ones which remain, I think, are older. We no longer need troughs for horses (here in England)and maybe not for dogs - but we could do with drinking fountains for people again.
