Mount Carmel Church in Bandra west.

Ref Wikipedia : The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Bandra is a Roman Catholic church in Bandra, Mumbai. It was built in 1894 by Jesuit Missionaries. As the catholic population in Bandra increased in the latter half of the 20th century, a new modern structure was constructed in its place. 2. I LOVE the heading, the photo at the top of your blog. And I like the style of the letters/the logo on the ground.

  4. I don't usually associate Catholicism with India, so this is a great reminder of India's diversity!

  5. This is a very interesting building; quite different than churches in the U.S. I'd love to see the nave and chancel areas. I think there are many people who don't realize that Christianity was brought to India way back in the 4th or 5th century (I think that's right). St. Thomas? (I've forgotten a lot of what I knew!!!)
