The fisherwoman who used to come door to door selling the catch of the day is now being missed not only by the buyers but also the cats and crows in the neighbourhood who used to be treated to the offal after the cleaning of the fish. Pre Lockdown tales.

ReplyDeleteWaste not, want not. The seagulls that normally frequent the shopping mall near are condo have really reduced in number. There are only a few takeout food places and people don't stay to eat and leave their trash. That's a good thing for the environment, not so much for the seagull's appetites. - Margy
