Celebrating 76 years of Independence


Today India celebrates 76 years of Independence. The celebrations are muted due to a large number of disasters all over the country. Above is a picture of a street in Bandra that has apparently escaped the eyes of the redevelopers/builders.

    I didn't realize you hadn't gained independence earlier than that. Freedom must feel fresh and new in some ways.
