A slew of billboards to keep the commuter busy when the traffic doesn't move. The guy on the extreme left is a self employed recycler. He picks up all the discarded plastic and paper to dispose off at the recycling agency for a price.
Linking to Tom's Signs2
...it's interesting that they are square, here they are rectangles.
ReplyDeleteWe have them in rectangular shapes too.
DeleteInteresting signs, esp the man to the far left.
ReplyDeleteA sign that no matter where you are there are dumb people littering everywhere, how sad.
Even sadder it is so much a man can make a living of it...
And those dumb people who litter will justify saying that they are helping someone make a living *sigh*
DeleteLooks a fairly dangerous job, right in the traffic, but someone has to do it.
ReplyDeleteEither way a matter of life and death.
DeleteBillboards really exotic
ReplyDeleteThe fight to catch eyeballs!

DeleteProbably an older man picking up the mess people leave behind. Powerful photo with a message.
ReplyDeleteOne man's litter is another's livelihood.

Thank you Carol. Namaste 🙏
DeleteThink billboards should display a simple positive message, so whether you stuck in traffic first thing in morning or in evening going home from work, it just makes you think and lifts your day without distracting you too much. And yes, it is a shame that with so many provisions, people are still littering. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeletePleasure to share, thank you.
