  4. I love bats! Once by accident I brought one into the kitchen, think it was very young it kinda snuggled in. Ingo brought it outside and sat it in a tree. Next day it was gone, hope it flew away like yours!

  7. In Finland bats fly in night time only. Haven´t seen one in 30 odd years. Nice shot!

  10. Wow! That's a great shot! I see what look like small birds at dusk here, bats. But, my bats are tiny. I guess yours is a kind of fruit bat?

I do like bats a lot but only ever seen them in a zoo environment where there flutter silently past your ears yet you can feel the slightest touch. I just stand still and listen. Nice pic of bat. Thank you for sharing. Im back blogging, lets see if im better at it this time and can actually interest fellow bloggers.

  12. Wow! That's huge! My son and family were just visiting India and went to a safari camp in Karnataka. They were also at Mysuru Palace. I'm impressed with all the luxurious places you have in India.

    1. This is a fruit bat and they are huge. Its the tiny variety that colonise buildings.
