Friends

Old friends spending quality time with each other in Matharpacady, Mazgaon. The one in the background is an old fashioned cobbler. Don't see many of those in the city these days.

Most shoes these days are not built for such attention, but merely to disintegrate and dump. Such skills are thus fading... nice frame. YAM xx

  3. That's cool. The downtown area of where I live used to have several cobblers that would repair shoes, not a one exists anywhere in town any longer.

Nice authentic pic. True, these talents are fading as mass production of products has come in to play. I personally, love these shops where items are rare and you can only find here and there, i like something different, not what everyone else has.

  7. I still remember those days, way back then, as we had cobblers in our town as well. Used to love visiting them.
