Masjid e Iranian

Masjid-e-Iranian, known locally as the Moghal Masjid, Mumbai is a Shia mosque in the Dongri locality of Mumbai. It was built in 1860 by Haji Mohammed Husain Shirazi, a prominent Iranian businessman who had moved to Mumbai and was restored in the 1990s by Reza Kabul.

The mosque is built in an Iranian style. The exterior is embellished with coloured tiles. Verses from the Quran are inscribed on the walls.

  3. That's a very interesting building but it's a pity about all the rubbish in front of it. It appears to be in a great condition. Happy Independence Day.
