Terrific traffic!
View from within an autorickshaw stuck in a traffic jam in Santacruz. I liked the small fan on the top right installed for the driver. No idea how helpful it is though. Must be useful when he is waiting for customers on a hot afternoon.

Sign of time
The tablet sign on the bridge gives a brief history of the over a century old bridge that connects Mumbai to Greater Mumbai (suburbs). Click on the photo to zoom in and read.
It was initially constructed in 1843 and widened to provide a 100' wide road in the year 1941.

Fort Remnants
The remains of the outer wall of the erstwhile Mahim fort. This photo has been clicked from Bandra Reclamation.
Strategically located in the Mahim Bay, the fort overlooks Worli to the south, Bandra to the north, and Mahim to the east. The origins of the fort are unclear, but it occupies a strategic location that has been frequently contested. The fort is currently in disrepair, suffering from administrative neglect, encroachment of slums, and exposure to tidal erosion.
You may click on History of Mahim Fort for details.

Graceful
Love the graceful curves from the tip of its beak to the body. A juvenile flamingo wades through the backwaters of Navi Mumbai.
