Taxis queued up to transport passengers to destinations where autorickshaws are not allowed to operate. Autorickshaws are allowed to operate only in the suburbs so they come upto this point and the passengers then pay off the autorickshaw and hire the taxi to go further.
...that is quite a line up!
ReplyDeleteThe profession of the drivers of these taxis requires much patience, it looks like.
ReplyDeleteHari Om
ReplyDeleteLovely line! YAM xx
As a former taxi driver, I enjoy seeing this detail of the business in your town. I want to explain why I haven't been around so much. My husband has been requiring more and more care. I am absolutely determined to continue to share a post everyday! But I am not always able to visit all of the friends like you that I love. Just wanted to let you know. Fondly with Aloha! Cloudia 🙏🏽
ReplyDeleteYou are a wonderful caring human. My best wishes for a speedy recovery of your husband. With your loving care he should be up and about soon!
DeleteCloudia, hope your husband is as comfortable as can be, hope he gets well soon.
DeleteTaxi driving, a very patient and requires a lot of intelligence role. Patience to listen to all the conversations they participate in with their passengers, but also the ones they have to listen to. The knowledge of the roads n streets, knowing which turn leads where, the passenger trusting them implicitly to get them to their destination.
DeleteLooks like a long car crash chain
ReplyDeleteI wonder why that rule ?
ReplyDeleteLoved this pic
ReplyDeleteThank you Rupam.
DeleteQuite a lot of them.
ReplyDeleteHay bastantes taxis para satisfacer la demanda.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
All lined up and ready to go.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot! Waiting for a customer! :-D
