People gathering at Band stand, Bandra, to protest against the Government and police apathy at Violence against Women. This was a response to the horrific gangrape and assault of a young girl by 6 boys in a bus on 16th Dec. She succumbed to injuries sustained, on 29th Dec. There have been protests all over India asking for more stringent laws, stricter implementation of existing laws and sensitization of the police force towards such crimes.
