Modakam

Modakam is the name of the café in Prabhadevi adjacent to the Siddhivinayak (Ganesha) temple. The café is famous for its 'Ukdiche modak'. Ukdiche modak is a traditional Maharashtrian steamed sweet dumpling made from rice flour dough and filled with coconut and jaggery.

Siddhivinayak Temple

The Siddhivinayak temple is a very famous temple in Prabhadevi, Mumbai dedicated to Lord Ganesha.

People from all walks of life visit it to get their wishes fulfilled.

The sign at the bottom says 'Free Footwear Seva' that is they will look after your footwear for free when you visit the temple as one cannot wear footwear inside the temple.
