Gulmohar

All these Gulmohar trees are in full bloom to signify how red hot summer is in Mumbai.

Delonix regia is a species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, subfamily Caesalpinioideae native to Madagascar. It is noted for its fern-like leaves and flamboyant display of orange-red flowers over summer. Indian flying fox

An Indian flying fox also known as the Greater Indian fruit bat hanging out on a tree outside my window with a berry in its mouth. It is a species of flying fox found in the Indian subcontinent and is one of the largest bats in the world.
