'Vasudev' considered as messenger of God would come around singing hymns and the future but not seen around often since some time now, even before Covid19.  Maybe they knew of it and isolated themselves 😉

A rare instance of a 'Vasudev' seen in Bandra east.
'Vasudev' are people believed to be incarnation of Lord Krishna. Bedecked in the distinctive headgear of peacock feathers, performers sing Vasudev songs and with nimble, delicate dance steps, whirl around presenting anecdotes from Lord Krishna's life in exchange for alms. They sing soothing, melodious notes through the villages in the morning time. Historically they belong to the Satvata tribe
