Drongo
A battle scarred Black Drongo - A first time visitor to the banyan tree outside my window. Was there for a very short time. Possibly had lost its way but made my day!

Good or Goods
Dropping the 'S' from 'Goods' has converted it from a noun to an adjective. A sign on a FED EX van seen in Bandra east.

Feel the heat
The fresh green of the tree leaves is deceptively cool in the otherwise hot ambiance on the street in the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Wall art
This is a beautiful mural on a wall in Worli which is close to the Worli fishermen colony as well as the Mahalaxmi racecourse, hence the depiction of fisherwomen selling fish and a jockey showing off his ride.

Gateway of India
The Gateway of India is synonymous with Mumbai. It was built as a triumphal arch to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai (then, Bombay). It was designed by the British architect, George Wittet. In the past Gateway of India used to be the arrival point for visitors from the west. Ironically, when the Raj ended in 1947, this colonial symbol also became a sort of epitaph: the last of the British ships that set sail for England left from the Gateway.
